Sebastian Carmine Ingrosso was born 20 April 1983. He came up as a producer in Sweden's tight electronic scene, eventually locking in with Axwell and Steve Angello to form Swedish House Mafia. The three became synonymous with the massive progressive house sound that dominated festivals in the early 2010s, turning DJ sets into choreographed spectacles. Ingrosso's work behind the decks and in the studio helped define an era when dance music crossed from clubs into arenas.
