Eric Prydz is read about 523 times a day, in 39 languages.
A typical day, 30 days to 15 October 2026
The middle day of the days counted, so one week of news cannot move it. The line under it is the last 390 days, one point a day.
Something wrong?Eric Prydz turned a sample of Steve Winwood into "Call on Me" in 2004, a track whose aerobics-video absurdity made it inescapable. Since then he's built a second, deeper reputation under aliases like Pryda and Cirez D - the kind of producer other DJs name-check.

Born 19 July 1976 in Sweden, Prydz broke through with "Call on Me" in 2004, then proved it wasn't a fluke: "Proper Education" charted in 2007, "Pjanoo" in 2008. By 2015 "Opus" arrived, a ten-minute progressive house track that became a set-closing standard, and in 2016 he released his first studio album of the same name. A year later he took DJ of the Year at the Electronic Music Awards and earned a nomination for Live Act of the Year. The aliases aren't a gimmick - they're the map of a producer who refused to be one thing.
