Terms of Use
Fame.am measures public visibility. These terms explain what we collect, what you can do with it, and where the limits are.

What Fame.am does
Fame.am collects public signals — search interest, social audiences, knowledge graph presence, and news coverage — to build ranked profiles of public figures. Data is sourced from publicly accessible APIs and datasets. We do not infer private attributes, political opinions, health data, or anything that isn't already in the public record.
Using the platform
You may browse, share, and reference Fame.am rankings and profiles for personal, journalistic, or research purposes. Commercial redistribution of ranking data requires a written license — contact [email protected]. You may not attempt to manipulate rankings, scrape data programmatically without permission, or impersonate others on the platform.
Profile accuracy
Profiles describe public visibility, not personal worth or credibility. Scores reflect available public signal at the time of enrichment and are updated periodically. We make no guarantees about completeness or real-time accuracy. To report an error, use the report tool.
Claiming a profile
Claiming a profile verifies your identity as the subject. Once verified, you may update your tagline, bio, and social links. You may not alter computed scores or rankings — those are derived from public signal and remain editorially independent. Abuse of the claim system will result in revocation.
Privacy and opt-out
Anyone may request removal of their profile via the opt-out form or by emailing [email protected]. We process opt-out requests within 48 hours. Profiles of deceased individuals remain indexed unless contested by an estate representative.
Liability
Fame.am provides rankings “as-is.” We are not liable for decisions made based on ranking data. Rankings are signals, not verdicts. For API access, enterprise licensing, or legal matters, contact [email protected].
