Russell Westbrook III entered the NBA in 2008 as the fourth pick by Seattle, landed in Oklahoma City a week later when the franchise relocated, and spent 11 years there becoming the Thunder's all-time leading scorer. He reached the Finals in 2012, lost to Miami, then in 2016-17 won MVP while averaging a triple-double - the first player to do so in decades, then repeated the feat three more seasons. Nine All-Star nods, two scoring titles, three assists crowns, named to the NBA 75th Anniversary Team in 2021. After Oklahoma City he bounced: Houston for a year, Washington for another, two uneven seasons in Los Angeles with the Lakers, then stints with the Clippers, Denver, and Sacramento before retiring in 2026. He won gold with Team USA in 2010 and 2012, and when the final whistle blew he held the record for most rebounds ever by a guard and a triple-double tally no one else had approached.
