About this person

Born in Akron, Ohio, LeBron James was anointed a future superstar in high school and went first overall to Cleveland in 2003. He won Rookie of the Year, led the Cavaliers to the 2007 Finals, then took back-to-back MVPs in 2009 and 2010 before leaving for Miami in 2010 via the television special The Decision. With the Heat he won two championships in 2012 and 2013, returned to Cleveland in 2014 and delivered the city its first title in 2016, then signed with the Lakers in 2018 and won again in 2020 - becoming the first player to earn Finals MVP with three franchises. Now the oldest active player in the league, he's logged 23 seasons, more games and minutes than anyone in history, and became the first active player to cross $1 billion in earnings.
