Nick Leonardus van de Wall was born 9 September 1987 and started building what would become Afrojack years before the name meant anything outside Dutch club circuits. In 2007 he founded Wall Recordings, giving himself a platform that didn't wait for someone else's green light. The work paid off in sustained visibility - he became a regular in DJ Mag's Top 100 DJs list, the kind of recurring presence that signals more than a moment. His debut album Forget the World arrived in 2014, by which point he'd already remixed his way into mainstream earshot. He also runs LDH Europe as CEO, a side of the business most people scrolling festival lineups don't see.
