About

Born 30 January 1937, daughter of Sir Michael Redgrave and Rachel Kempson, she debuted on stage in A Touch of Sun in 1958 and hit film the same year in Behind the Mask alongside her father. Prominence came in 1961 playing Rosalind in As You Like It with the Royal Shakespeare Company. Film breakthrough arrived with Morgan: A Suitable Case for Treatment in 1966 — the first of six Academy Award nominations — then Blowup, Camelot, The Devils, Murder on the Orient Express.
