Nasty C is read about 90 times a day, in 6 languages.
A typical day, 30 days to 15 October 2026
The middle day of the days counted, so one week of news cannot move it. The line under it is the last 390 days, one point a day.
Something wrong?Nasty C turned South African hip-hop into a global export. By 20 he had two albums out, by 23 he was signing with Def Jam, and by now he's the rare African rapper who moves seamlessly between Johannesburg and international stages.

Absolutely. I believe in the law of attraction speaking things into existence, I think lyrics can materialise.
It feels nice, man. I feel like I’m a team member. You know what I mean? We’re all flying the same flag.
My love for music. Being able to create, release it, and see people connect with it that’s everything.

About this person
Nsikayesizwe David Junior Ngcobo was born 11 February 1997 and started rapping young enough that by 2015, at 18, he was the youngest winner at the South African Hip Hop Awards. A year later came Bad Hair, his debut album, followed by Strings and Bling in 2018 and a first tour, The Ivyson Tour. March 2020 brought the joint venture with Def Jam Records - the deal that pulled him into the American market. "There They Go" was his U.S. debut single, and it landed. Zulu Man with Some Power arrived that August, his first under the new label. Since then: the Ivyson Army mixtape in September 2022, then two singles in quick succession the next summer, No More and Crazy Crazy. The arc bends toward more rooms, bigger rooms.
