Born Adekunle Almoruf Kosoko on 28 January 1987, he was designing for YBNL Nation - creating the label's official logo and artwork for Olamide, Lil Kesh, and Viktoh - when "Sade" changed the script. The 2015 highlife cover of "Story of My Life" brought him enough attention to sign with the same label as an artist. His debut album Gold followed that year, preceded by "Sade", "Orente", and "Pick Up", and debuted at number 7 on the Billboard World Albums chart. By 2023 he'd moved to Def Jam for Tequila Ever After, his fifth studio album. On 3 October 2025 he released Fuji - Finding Uncharted Journeys Inside - a 15-track sixth album that marked nearly a decade since the cover that rewrote the plan.
