About this person

Michael Collins Ajereh was born 26 November 1982. In 2004 he co-founded Mo' Hits Records with D'banj, working as producer and architect of the label's sound. Between 2011 and 2013 he produced in-house for Kanye West's GOOD Music. He founded Mavin Records in 2012 as a subsidiary of Mavin Global Holdings, signing a roster that includes Rema, Ayra Starr, Magixx, Bayanni, Johnny Drille, Ladipoe, Lifesize Teddy, DJ Big N, and Boy Spyce. The label became a launchpad for the generation that carried Afrobeats worldwide, and Don Jazzy's ear for talent and production became the spine of the sound.
