Alexander Rae Baldwin III was born April 3, 1958, into the Baldwin acting family. His film career took off in 1988 with Beetlejuice, Working Girl, and Married to the Mob, then playing Jack Ryan in The Hunt for Red October (1990). He earned an Oscar nomination for The Cooler (2003) and a BAFTA nod for It's Complicated (2010), while building a dense résumé across Glengarry Glen Ross, The Departed, Blue Jasmine, and two Mission: Impossible entries.
