There is no kind way to rip the skin off animals’ backs. Anyone who wears any fur shares the blame for the torture and gruesome deaths of millions of animals each year.
It can take up to 100 chinchillas to make one coat and Jennifer Lopez has one made of 80 of them, all killed by electrocution or having their necks snapped.

About this person
Natalie Jane Imbruglia grew up in New South Wales and spent the early 1990s playing Beth Brennan in the Australian soap Neighbours, a role that made her recognizable but didn't hint at what came next. She moved to the UK to try music, and her debut single - Ednaswap's "Torn" - became one of the 1990s' defining tracks, a cover so ubiquitous it eclipsed the original. Her first album, Left of the Middle, sold seven million copies worldwide and earned multi-platinum certifications across three continents. The follow-ups, White Lilies Island in 2001 and Counting Down the Days in 2005, went gold in Britain but couldn't recreate the scale of the debut. She kept recording - six studio albums by 2021, over ten million units sold - and picked up eight ARIA Awards, two Brits, a Billboard trophy, and three Grammy nominations along the way. Outside music she appeared in Johnny English and the Australian indie Closed for Winter, modelled for L'Oreal and Gap, and spent years as a spokesperson for Virgin Unite and campaigns against obstetric fistula.
