Nadab of Israel

Nadab inherited the throne of the northern Israelite kingdom from his father Jeroboam, stepping into a fractured monarchy still fresh from its split with Judah. His time as king proved short-lived. The Biblical account offers little about what he accomplished or intended, leaving him as a figure defined more by succession than by action. He remains a name in the royal line, a bridge between his father's founding reign and whatever came after.
