Megyn Marie Kelly was born November 18, 1970, and worked as an attorney before joining Fox News in 2004. She co-anchored America's Newsroom with Bill Hemmer and hosted America Live from 2010 to 2013, then launched The Kelly File in 2013 - a breaking-news program that became one of the network's top-rated shows and ran until 2017. She moderated presidential primary debates in the 2016 and 2024 election cycles. She left Fox News in January 2017 for NBC News, where she anchored Megyn Kelly Today until departing in January 2019. She moved to independent media with The Megyn Kelly Show, a daily podcast on SiriusXM's Triumph channel that has drawn over 4 million YouTube subscribers, and in 2025 she launched MK Media, a podcast and video network for independent creators. Time named her one of the 100 most influential people in both 2014 and 2025.
