About this person

Born November 24, 1981, Krystal Marie Ball first entered the public eye as the Democratic nominee for Virginia's 1st congressional district in 2010, losing to Republican incumbent Rob Wittman. She pivoted to media, co-hosting MSNBC's The Cycle and contributing to The Huffington Post before landing at The Hill's Rising with Saagar Enjeti. In May 2017 she launched the People's House Project, a political action committee backing Democratic causes. Four years later, in May 2021, she and Enjeti left Rising to start Breaking Points with Krystal and Saagar, gambling that audiences wanted commentary free of legacy media constraints. She also co-hosts Krystal Kyle & Friends with her husband, Kyle Kulinski.
