Something wrong? He's the fastest thing in football who actually finishes - a French forward who scored in back-to-back World Cup finals before turning 24, won one of them at 19, and is now trying to prove the same pace and cold precision works at Real Madrid.

When you speak about football, [it’s about] winning trophies, being with new teammates.
In a career, you have to take difficult decisions.
When you have a little brother and you see he's entering the big boys' world, it makes you feel old.

Born in Paris on 20 December 1998 and raised in Bondy, Mbappé broke through at Monaco, winning Ligue 1 in 2016-17 before PSG paid €180 million to make him the most expensive teenager ever at 18. He spent seven years there, becoming the club's all-time top scorer, winning six league titles, and dragging them to their first Champions League final in 2020. At the 2018 World Cup he became the second teenager after Pelé to score in a final, helping France lift the trophy; four years later in Qatar he scored a hat trick in another final, won the Golden Boot, and walked away with silver. In 2024 he finally joined Real Madrid on a free transfer and took the Pichichi and European Golden Shoe in his first season. He's been named Ligue 1 Player of the Year five times, finished third for the 2023 Ballon d'Or, and captains France.
