About this person
James Charles Dickinson started uploading makeup tutorials from Bethlehem, New York, and in 2016 became CoverGirl's first male brand ambassador after a tweet of his work blew up online. He was 17. By 2020 he was hosting Instant Influencer for YouTube Originals and had launched a collaboration line with Morphe Cosmetics, collecting People's Choice, Streamy, and Teen Choice awards along the way. A 2019 feud with beauty YouTuber Tati Westbrook sent his subscriber count into freefall, and 2021 brought accusations of sexting underage boys - he said he didn't know their ages. The career didn't collapse. He's still here, still posting, still watched.
