About this person
Candace Amber Owens Farmer was born April 29, 1989, and entered politics initially critical of Donald Trump and the Republican Party before pivoting to conservative advocacy. She served as communications director for Turning Point USA from 2017 to 2019, co-founded the BLEXIT Foundation in 2018 with former Tucson officer Brandon Tatum, and after a stint at PragerU joined The Daily Wire in 2021 to host Candace. The show ended in March 2024 when she was dismissed following antisemitic comments and months of tension with Ben Shapiro and other staff. Her skepticism about white supremacy's societal impact and opposition to COVID-19 lockdowns and vaccines had already marked her trajectory, but growing criticism of Israel and its Gaza war led her to disavow Trump and MAGA in 2026. Since 2023 she has promoted antisemitic tropes, and after Charlie Kirk's 2025 assassination she spread conspiracy theories baselessly implicating Turning Point USA staff, Kirk's widow, Israel, Egypt, and France in his death.
