Clay started uploading in 2014 but stayed small until 2019, when his Minecraft Manhunt series - a hunter-versus-hunted format - caught fire and built a massive following. He pushed into speedrunning, set records, then saw several overturned after evidence surfaced that he'd cheated. In parallel he launched the Dream SMP, an invite-only roleplay server that pulled in other creators and spun out its own fandom.
