Gal Gadot

Gal Gadot grew up in Rosh HaAyin, won Miss Israel 2004, and served two years as a combat trainer in the Israel Defense Forces before a Maxim shoot nudged her toward modeling. Her screen break came in 2009 as Gisele Yashar in Fast & Furious, a part she played across multiple sequels while appearing in Israeli TV dramas like Bubot and Asfur. In 2016 she debuted as Wonder Woman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice; the solo film that followed in 2017 became a box office smash and she reprised the role through 2020's Wonder Woman 1984, which she co-produced. Since then she's led Red Notice, Death on the Nile, Heart of Stone, and in 2025 played the Evil Queen in Snow White and Gemma Donati in In the Hand of Dante. Off screen she co-founded a production company, launched a food brand, and collected honors from Israeli and Jewish organizations including a Genesis Prize, while her public support for the IDF and for Gaza hostages has drawn criticism from Palestinian nationalists and from some pro-Israeli voices who say she hasn't gone far enough.
