Thomas Edward Patrick Brady Jr. was born August 3, 1977, played college ball for Michigan, and became a New England Patriot in the sixth round of the 2000 draft when 198 other names had already been called. He took over as starter in his second season and won Super Bowl XXXVI, the first of six titles he would bring to New England over 20 years - a run that included 17 division crowns, 11 of them consecutive from 2009 to 2019, and nine Super Bowl appearances. In 2020 he signed with Tampa Bay and immediately won Super Bowl LV at age 43, the oldest quarterback to do it and the only one ever to win for two franchises. He retired after 2022 with every major quarterback record - yards, touchdowns, completions, wins - and then stepped into the broadcast booth for Fox and bought a piece of the Raiders in 2024.
