The middle day of the days counted, so one week of news cannot move it. The line under it is the last 390 days, one point a day.
Something wrong? He built a signature out of cockney crime comedies full of twists and eclectic lowlifes, then pivoted hard into franchise blockbusters - same kinetic style, radically different canvas.

Guy Stuart Ritchie left school at 15 and scraped through entry-level film jobs before directing commercials and a 1995 short called The Hard Case. Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels arrived in 1998 - his feature debut - followed by Snatch in 2000, which cemented his reputation for sharp-tongued gangster ensemble pieces. Then came Swept Away in 2002, starring his wife Madonna: a box-office bomb that critics savaged. He directed Revolver in 2005 and RocknRolla in 2008 to mixed response, but the Sherlock Holmes films with Robert Downey Jr. in 2009 and 2011 were massive hits, the first earning Oscar nominations for score and art direction. His 2019 live-action Aladdin for Disney grossed over a billion dollars worldwide, the biggest earner of his career, and that same year he returned to crime comedy with The Gentlemen. He reteamed with Jason Statham for Wrath of Man in 2021 and Operation Fortune in 2023, then closed the year with The Covenant, which landed well with critics.
