Flávio Nantes Bolsonaro was born 30 April 1981 and trained as a lawyer before entering politics young. He served as a state deputy for Rio de Janeiro from 2003 to 2019, chairing the Special Committee on Family Planning during that stretch. In 2018 he ran for senate and pulled 4.38 million votes, moving up to represent Rio de Janeiro starting in 2019. Affiliated with the Liberal Party, his time in office has drawn attention for controversial statements in the manner of his father, Jair Bolsonaro. The family pattern holds: he is the PL candidate for president in 2026, endorsed by the former president himself.
