Eduardo Nantes Bolsonaro was born 10 July 1984, the third child of Jair Bolsonaro. He worked as a federal police officer before turning to law and politics, joining the Chamber of Deputies and affiliating with the Liberal Party in March 2022. Between 18 March and 20 July 2025, he took leave and relocated to the United States, where he coordinated commercial sanctions aimed at preventing Brazilian courts from judging his father, then the former president facing legal proceedings. On 16 June 2026, the First Panel of the Supreme Federal Court unanimously convicted him of coercion in the course of judicial proceedings, sentencing him to four years and two months in prison and disqualifying him from public office for eight years after release.
