About this person

Maria Elisa Silva, born 7 May 1999 in Ponta do Sol, Madeira, goes by Elisa. She took Festival da Canção 2020 with "Medo de sentir" and earned the ticket to represent Portugal at Eurovision in Rotterdam. The 2020 contest never happened - COVID-19 scrapped it entirely. A year later, on 28 April 2021, she surfaced again as Portugal's spokesperson for the Eurovision final, announcing the country's points from the other side of the broadcast.
