About this person

Pedro Bispo was born in Algueirão - Mem Martins, a working-class area in Sintra, just outside Lisbon, on 12 April 1992. He strips his stage name down to just "Bispo" and raps in Portuguese, rooted in the suburbs that shaped him. The specifics of his rise aren't widely documented outside Portugal, but he's become a recognized voice in the Portuguese rap scene. He still goes by the single name, a small flag planted in a crowded field.
