About this person

Anthony led Syracuse to a national championship in 2003 as a freshman, winning NCAA Tournament Most Outstanding Player, then jumped to the NBA as the third pick by Denver. He took the Nuggets to the playoffs every year from 2004 to 2010, pushing them to their first conference finals since 1985 in 2009. Traded to New York in 2011, he dropped 62 points against Charlotte in January 2014, a Knicks record and a Madison Square Garden record. Stops in Oklahoma City, Houston, Portland, and finally Los Angeles rounded out 19 seasons. He won Olympic gold three times (2008, 2012, 2016) after a bronze in 2004, becoming Team USA's all-time leader in points, rebounds, and games played. In 2025, the Hall of Fame inducted him twice - once as an individual, once with the 2008 Olympic squad.
