Brooke Gabrielle Fraser signed with Sony BMG in 2002 and released What to Do with Daylight the following year; it debuted at number one in New Zealand, as did her next two albums, Albertine (2006) and Flags (2010), which delivered the number-one single "Something in the Water". She joined the Australian Christian group Hillsong Worship in 2005, stepped back, then returned from 2016 to 2023, co-writing and performing songs that became congregational standards. "What a Beautiful Name", recorded live, won the Grammy for Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance in 2018. She now releases under her married name, Brooke Ligertwood - Capitol CMG put out Seven (2022), Eight (2023), and Eat (2026) - while the earlier pop catalogue remains under Fraser.
