About

Abdullah was the son of Abd al-Muttalib ibn Hashim and Fatima bint Amr of the Makhzum Clan, born around 545. He married Aminah bint Wahb, and they had one child: Muhammad. Abdullah died sometime between 545 and 570, before that child came into the world. The prophet of Islam never knew his father.
