About this person

Daniel Pitout, born January 6, 1988, in South Africa, adopted the name Orville Peck and built a country music career across the United States and Canada without ever showing his face publicly. His debut album Pony arrived in 2019, followed by the EP Show Pony in 2020. W Magazine noted his haunting guitar riffs drifting between rockabilly, blues, and dreamy shoegazing distortions. He released his second studio album Bronco in 2022, then took a self-imposed hiatus in 2023. His third album Stampede came out in 2024.
