Born Omar Josué González on 12 November 1998, he grew up between Venezuela and Sweden and entered professional music at fourteen when he joined the Swedish boy band FO&O in 2013. He spent five years in the group before going solo in 2018, chasing a sound under his own name. The pivot to acting came in 2021 when he was cast as Simon Eriksson in Young Royals, Netflix's boarding-school romance that became a sleeper sensation. The show ran three seasons through 2024, and the role gave him a second lane - one where his face mattered as much as his voice.
