Born 19 December 1991 in Australia, Lonsdale started as a dancer and MTV VJ before landing Oliver Lloyd on Dance Academy from 2012 to 2013. He moved into American blockbusters with The Divergent Series: Insurgent in 2015 and The Finest Hours in 2016, then joined the CW's Arrowverse as Wally West, playing Kid Flash on The Flash from 2015 to 2023 and Legends of Tomorrow from 2017 to 2018. His turn as Bram Greenfeld in Love, Simon in 2018 gave him a different register - a tender, grounded performance in a studio film built around a first gay love story. He released a studio album in 2020, adding singer-songwriter to the tally.
