Gwen Stefani joined No Doubt and spent a decade in the ska-punk margins before Tragic Kingdom broke wide in 1995 on the back of "Don't Speak" and "Just a Girl." When the band paused, she pivoted hard: Love. Angel. Music. Baby. arrived in 2004 as a deliberate throwback to '80s synth-pop and spawned "Hollaback Girl," a chant-along that hit number one and crossed into download history. The Sweet Escape followed in 2006 with another top-three single. A decade later This Is What the Truth Feels Like became her first solo chart-topper, and she's since released a Christmas album and Bouquet in 2024.…
