About this person
Lethabo Sebetso was born in Pretoria on 26 May 1996 and spent his early years as a footballer before the pivot to rap. He took the name Focalistic and built a following in South Africa's hip-hop scene, then released his debut studio album Sgubhu Ses Excellent in 2020. "Ke Star" was the track that broke through, climbing to number 16 on the Billboard Top Triller Global charts and planting his flag outside his home country. The single's run turned him from a local name into a crossover case study.
