Don Pepijn Schipper, born 27 February 1980, started making electronic music in the Netherlands and settled on a sound - future house - early enough that he could shape it rather than follow it. By 2015 he had enough pull to start HEXAGON, his own label, and enough material to keep the sets coming. The rankings followed: Beatport named him the top future house artist in 2016, 1001Tracklists called him the year's most-played producer in 2018, and DJ Mag put him sixth worldwide in 2020. He also paints digitally, though the decks are what people show up for.
