About this person

Dean Lewis Grant Loaney grew up in Sydney and started writing songs that turned emotional wreckage into radio gold. "Waves" arrived in 2016 and went seven times platinum in Australia. Two years later "Be Alright" hit number one at home, certified platinum in four weeks, and eventually climbed to eleven times platinum locally and double platinum in the U.S. His 2022 track "How Do I Say Goodbye" caught fire on social media and earned gold or platinum in ten countries. He released three albums between 2019 and 2024: A Place We Knew, The Hardest Love, and The Epilogue. In 2025 he was accused of sexual misconduct and Universal Music parted ways with him.
