Karla Camila Cabello Estrabao was born March 3, 1997, and rose through Fifth Harmony, one of the best-selling girl groups of all time. While still in the group, she tested solo waters with "I Know What You Did Last Summer" alongside Shawn Mendes and "Bad Things" with Machine Gun Kelly, the latter hitting number four on the Billboard Hot 100. She left Fifth Harmony in late 2016. Her debut album Camila arrived in 2018, topped the Billboard 200, and leaned into Latin music - its lead single "Havana" featuring Young Thug became a global chart-topper and the year's best-selling digital single per the IFPI. Romance followed in 2019, peaked at number three, and delivered another worldwide number one in "Señorita", her duet with Mendes. Familia made number ten in 2022 with the hit "Bam Bam" featuring Ed Sheeran, and her fourth album C,XOXO landed at number 13 in 2024. She's collected two Latin Grammys, five American Music Awards, a Billboard Music Award, and in 2021 starred as Cinderella on film.
