The middle day of the days counted, so one week of news cannot move it. The line under it is the last 390 days, one point a day.
Something wrong?Alejandro Sanz turned flamenco-inflected ballads into a Latin pop juggernaut - 24 Latin Grammys, collaborations that dominated global charts, and enough crossover pull to become the first Spanish artist with an MTV Unplugged. The Madrid-born guitarist made Spanish-language music a stadium concern.

About this person
Born in Madrid in 1968 to Andalusian parents, Sanz picked up guitar at seven, rooted in his family's flamenco tradition. He released a debut album at nineteen that went nowhere; commercial traction came with his second record, Viviendo Deprisa, in 1991. Two more solid releases followed, but 1997's Más broke him internationally. El Alma al Aire sold over a million copies in its first week in 2000. He logged an MTV Unplugged in 2002, then hit worldwide charts in 2005 with "La Tortura," his Shakira duet. Later albums - No Es lo Mismo, El Tren de los Momentos, Paraíso Express - pushed into pop, rock, funk, R&B, and jazz, broadening the palette without abandoning the ballad core. He moved to Universal in 2011 and kept releasing: La Música No Se Toca in 2012, Sirope in 2015, three Album of the Year Latin Grammys across the span.
