As grateful as I feel, I honestly don’t feel like I need to say anything but that … no one is illegal on stolen land.
Dude, my family is so musical and we always have been, and we remain that way. I grew up thinking that every family was like that.
I've been a joyous person, but not a happy person. I've experienced joy and laughter, but I've also been a depressed person.

Billie Eilish Pirate Baird O'Connell broke through in 2015 when "Ocean Eyes", written and produced by her brother Finneas, found an audience online. Her 2017 EP Don't Smile at Me moved units across the US, UK, and Australia, but it was 2019's When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? that made her unavoidable: it topped the Billboard 200 and the UK Albums Chart, and "Bad Guy" became the first song by a 21st-century-born artist to hit number one in America and go Diamond. Happier Than Ever followed in 2021 with another chart-topping debut and three top-ten singles. She won back-to-back Oscars for Best Original Song, first for "No Time to Die" in 2021, then for "What Was I Made For?" from Barbie in 2023. Her third album, Hit Me Hard and Soft, arrived in 2024 with "Birds of a Feather", which became the most-streamed solo song by a female artist on Spotify and hit number one on the Billboard Global 200. She's the youngest person to win Album of the Year and Record of the Year at the Grammys, the first person born in the 2000s to win both a Grammy and an Oscar, and the youngest two-time Oscar winner.
