About this person
Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio broke through in 2016 with "Diles" and a Hear This Music deal, then vaulted into the mainstream with "I Like It" alongside Cardi B and J Balvin. His 2018 debut X 100pre landed on Rolling Stone's all-time greatest albums list. YHLQMDLG followed in 2020, becoming Spotify's most-streamed album worldwide that year with all 11 tracks hitting the Hot 100 at once. El Último Tour Del Mundo made history as the first all-Spanish album to top the Billboard 200; Un Verano Sin Ti was 2022's biggest album globally per the IFPI; and Debí Tirar Más Fotos won the first-ever Album of the Year Grammy awarded to a Spanish-language record. Between music he's logged WWE title reigns and wrestled at WrestleMania, appeared in Bullet Train and Happy Gilmore 2, and headlined the Super Bowl LX halftime show in February 2026 to acclaim and controversy alike.
