A seven-year-old walked onstage barefoot in 2014, sang "Gloomy Sunday" like Billie Holiday's ghost had slipped into her, and the video tore across the internet. She won Norway's Got Talent at eight, and the question became whether the voice was a moment or the start of something else.

About this person
Angelina Jordan Astar was born 10 January 2006 in Norway. Her 2014 audition became a viral sensation, and she took the competition with "Summertime" that same year. The barefoot performances stem from meeting a shoeless girl and giving her own shoes away - she later wrote a book about it, Mellom to hjerter. She appeared on Little Big Shots in 2016, moved to the United States in 2018, and returned to the Got Talent franchise in 2020 with a "Bohemian Rhapsody" cover that pulled serious attention. Republic Records signed her in August 2020, and "Million Miles" followed that November. Between releases and television, she's funneled energy into environmental work and children's charities.
