Biography

About

Theodor Karl Ludwig Gilbert Morell was born 22 July 1886 in Germany, where he built a reputation for unorthodox medical methods. He became Adolf Hitler's personal physician and attended him daily in virtually everything he did for several years, remaining at his side until the last stages of the Battle of Berlin. Hitler awarded him high honors, and Morell parlayed his status into lucrative business deals with the Nazi government that made him a multi-millionaire. He died 26 May 1948.
