Terry Guo was born 18 October 1950 and founded Foxconn in 1974, growing it from a small operation into the world's largest contract electronics manufacturer and Taiwan's biggest exporter. By 2024 his net worth stood at $10.4 billion. In 2019 he resigned from Foxconn to join the Kuomintang and seek the presidency, claiming divine instruction from Mazu - he came second in the primary and left the party.
