Tash Sultana loops fifteen instruments live - guitar, trumpet, sax, pan flute, piano - layering every sound alone on stage. "Jungle" cracked the global feed in 2016, a bedroom recording that went from busking circles to Triple J's top three and a sold-out world tour before the debut album even dropped.

About this person
Sultana grew up in Melbourne, guitar in hand from age three, and started busking to build a following. By 2013 they were uploading tracks to Bandcamp; in 2016 those bedroom recordings hit millions of YouTube views and "Jungle" landed at number three on Triple J's Hottest 100. The EP Notion followed in September 2016, then a sold-out world tour in early 2017. The next year they placed three more songs in the Hottest 100 - "Mystik" at 28, "Murder to the Mind" at 43, and a cover of MGMT's "Electric Feel" at 78. In 2026, BMG signed them globally, locking in the one-person-band model that had already proved itself on stages worldwide.
