Stevland Hardaway Morris signed to Motown at 11, branded Little Stevie Wonder, and became the youngest solo artist to hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 with "Fingertips" at 13. Through the late '60s he was the label's harmonica-playing hitmaker, but in 1972 he abandoned that sound entirely, diving into synthesizers and keyboards with Music of My Mind and Talking Book. The run that followed — Innervisions, Fulfillingness' First Finale, Songs in the Key of Life — made him the first Black musician to win Album of the Year at the Grammys and the only artist to win it three albums in a row.
