About

Born August 11, 1950, Stephen Gary Wozniak came up as an electrical engineer and programmer before co-founding Apple Computer with Steve Jobs in 1976. He developed the Apple I in 1975 and designed the Apple II, introduced in 1977 — one of the first mass-produced microcomputers that actually worked for ordinary people. He helped shape early Macintosh concepts from 1979 to 1981 alongside Jef Raskin, until a plane accident pulled him away and Jobs took over the project. After leaving Apple permanently in 1985, he founded CL 9 and released the first programmable universal remote in 1987, then spen…
