Born October 2, 1951, to Hollywood royalty - actor Tyrone Power and actress Linda Christian - Romina Power started as an actress before pivoting to music. She married Italian singer Albano Carrisi, and together they became Al Bano & Romina Power, a duo that found massive success across Europe and beyond during the 1980s. Their partnership, both personal and professional, made them fixtures on stages and charts in markets where few American-born artists gained traction. The marriage eventually ended, but the catalog remained.
