Richard Sammel is a German actor. He is best known to United States audiences for his roles as Sergeant Werner Rachtman in Inglourious Basterds (2009) and as Thomas Eichhorst in The Strain (2014-2017). He has appeared in more than 100 films and television series since 1991.
