Pavol Hrušovský is a Slovak lawyer and retired politician who served as Speaker of the National Council of Slovakia from 2002 to 2006 and briefly again from 2011 to 2012. He also held the position of Deputy Speaker in two nonconsecutive terms and was a member of the National Council for eight consecutive terms from 1992 to 2016. Hrušovský also ran for President of Slovakia in 2014 election, finishing sixth with 3.3% of the vote in the first round.
