About this person

Nemo Mettler was born in Switzerland on 3 August 1999 and trained across violin, piano, and drums before stepping into a singer-rapper lane that folded all of it together. In 2024 they were sent to represent Switzerland at Eurovision, the first openly non-binary act the country had ever put forward. "The Code" won the whole contest, a result that made them the first openly non-binary winner and gave Switzerland its third Eurovision trophy after 1956 and 1988. The gap between wins - 36 years - made the moment land harder.
